The truth?
I fell off the edge of the world.
It was an amazingly long way down...
but then I'm pretty short, so anything over 6 feet might be considered "amazingly long"
I had a lot of thinking time during the fall...
I thought about really deep and important things.
again, "deep" is relative for someone my height.

which is slightly like falling off the edge of the earth - but with lots of people to catch you on the way down...
On our biggest, craziest day, neither side of my family has looked like that. It makes me sorta jealous.

ReplyDeleteWe had a big reunion too, and it does feel like falling of the face of the earth when you spend all of that time reminiscing and talking about stuff from what seems like another life time.
