The Insanity that we call a Weekend...

so...  it was a long weekend... and I'm not fully recovered yet...  and I will eventually put up a bunch of photos of other awesome moments - but for now (since I just woke from a nice relaxing Sunday nap) I will focus on things involving pillows and blankets...

Specifically, my Cozy...  although Kristina still isn't convinced of its superiority...

She is however convinced that I am a complete stalker as we literally attacked her and wrapped her in the Cozy Goodness...  perhaps if we'd had a few more minutes she would have appreciated its superior softness?

And then - some good people over at DownLite provided each and every one of the conference attendees with a little travel pillow.  I can attest to its perfect firmness because I just slept a solid 3 hours on the couch using it!
There I am - with some new friends - showing off the pillows at the Girls' Night Out...  the poor men at the conference (all 3 of them) had no chance!  And yes, before you ask - I WAS the shortest person at the conference...  no surprise there!!!

Learned Lots - Laughed Lots - and frankly, my brain is full...  will I make a lot of changes to my blogging?  I'm not sure...  I think I had a few teenage insecurity moments (I'm not interesting/pretty/tall/popular/determined enough) but it was a good weekend and maybe a few changes are in store...  just watch :)

I am super impressed with all the swag we got! And again, thank you for making me feel like I was being kidnapped by the Taliban.

That picture is awesome. Anytime you can imitate the Taliban, well that is a good day.

Love that you attacked Kristina with the Cozy. And I would've shared the shortest title with you---but you look so cute doing it all by yourself:)

YEAH! Look for my talking trash can moment at CBC!

And YOU were there to document it.
Thanks, T.

I took a L-O-N-G HOT bubble bath when I came home to RELAX, and I will sleep good tonight.

Looking forward to making comments with you more, tweeting and hopefully going to the NEXT bloggy lunch we plan.

Do you happen to know Erin from If you give a mom a moment, she will sit down and blog?
she lives in S. UT too.

Barb - would have LOVED to have shared the title with you... we could have both worn our smokin' hot red heels and really rocked the joint :)

I guess I'm going to have to start stalking Erin's blog too... any S. Utah girl just has to be fun right :)

Can't wait for the trash can moment - funny side bar to that though - my oldest was looking through his baby book and found a reference to his talking trash can experience... so I've already spilled the story to him :)

Well T you may have been the shortest, but you weren't the OLDEST!
Good times for sure. It was so great to get to know so many!
Nap?
Really?
I got home at 0darkhundred and went to church and then to do the grave thing.
I'm ready for a moment with my travel pillow.

So is there any blogger who attended that hasn't blogged and posted photos from the CBC yet? How many photos are floating around there with you in the background, foreground, dead center---you'll have to check 'em all.
Can't wait to see how you are going to apply those taxpayer dollars used to send you there!

Hey Look! There's me on T's blog! I think this just might push me over from slightly known, to well known blogger.
What would I do without you?

What!? You don't know Erin?? Um... she's awesome. And that's the truth.

Sounds like you had a blast - I'm a little jealous. I'm still stuck in the blogging-is-so-last-year mentality. Probably because I've not had time for it in a long while. Or because I've not written anything funny in weeks and have resigned myself to a mediocre existence. So you know, one or the other...

You got Kristina in a Cozy?? And it looks like she enjoyed it! :) So fun to meet you this weekend, regardless of you height! :)

You are hilarious. I did NOT hear about you attacking Kristina, what the heck??

I'm with you--I probably won't change my blogging habits because, well, there really is nothing much to change. : )

I somehow missed out on the travel pillow. I need to pay more attention. It was lovely to meet you, even if it took half the time before I realized I already knew you online (what can I say, I'm slow that way.)

You guys look so HOT. I wish I had gone to girls night out!

NEXT YEAR!

It was sooo much fun!!!

Suddenly I'm feeling like my trip would have been so much better if I had met you. And had lunch or something. Love your blog... and dude. I totally want a cozy.

I didn't take a travel pillow cause I wasn't sure I could take it home on the plane. Which is ridiculously ironic since it's a TRAVEL pillow.

My brain is full too! So great meeting you. We both lost our twitter virginity together. I think that will bond us for a long time...
