Channeling Billy Mays... again?

anyone remember M's funny story from awhile back about NEEDING the EZ comb?  Well, she's at it again...  only this time she has taken up the cause of the Topsy Turvy - have you seen this?

Apparently my daughter is concerned about my back.  While driving along she tells me that we need this so I don't have to do so much "back-breaking work".  Have I mentioned ever that M actually HATES tomatoes?  She is just VERY easily influenced by advertising!  Perhaps I should spend my days making TV commercials for things like toothbrushing and cleaning your closet?

Admittedly - it does seem like a brilliant idea - which is why I smiled when (after calling ManOfTheHouse to tell him our cute M story) he had stopped and purchased one.  Will I ever plant it?  maybe next year... someone forgets sometimes that it is UBER hot around here and our growing season is pretty much past!  I am looking forward to fresh homegrown tomatoes without a broken back next year though... as long as she keeps avoiding stepping on cracks at least!

I'm a little worried though - either my little girl is going to grow up and have a brilliant career as a spokesperson... or her husband will have to lock away the credit cards and have the cable company block HSN and QVC because she'll buy anything with a catchy ad.

and for the record - she really doesn't watch TV all that often...  and this is why!

At least she's being influenced for good things----if she's telling you about the awesome new VS underwear you need to boost up your shape then you could be a little more concerned.

:) I've heard those tomatoes are pretty easy to grow. And I can't believe your growng season is over, mine just started!

So, I've been thinking about this being my next As Seen on Tv product to review. I need to figure out if we can hang it out on our balcony.

Let me know if it works! Anything to get out of the back breaking work of growing tomatoes the traditional way. :D

A woman after my own heart!
I have an addiction to buying stuff that they show on TV.
I have to walk away.

I almost bought a "bump it" because it seemed so necessary. I don't have enough hair to cover it, but I had the credit card in my hand.

My mother has used these. I have no idea if they actually worked. Good luck. My kids love to quote infomercials word for word to me. "Hey mom, Do your desserts seems bland and uninteresting? Cakes come out flat..."

Mike's boss has 3 of these things, and their tomatoes are HUGE!!! I might try it next year, at least I know that the dog won't get into them!!

When my son turned 18 (1 1/2 years ago) Mimi, age 8 said, "Are you excited to be 18? You can buy stuff from TV now!" Classic!

Does it come with the tomatoes? If it does, I'm in .

no tomatoes with it... a totally separate trip to the nursery is needed... of course, now I want to buy the strawberry topsy turvy as well... why not go all in?

My nine year old is an infomercial queen! She thinks I need the following: Debbie Meyer green bags, shoes under, shake weight, mighty putty, shamwow, topsy turvy and many many others! I really need to get her out of front of the TV.
