Dentists, Dying, Ditching, Dad, Dummy, Dry Cleaning, and Delivery Delays...

Oh, I think the title says it all - and it's barely noon!

Dentist - that's what we were SUPPOSED to be doing this morning - luckily the car place and the dentists' office are close to one another...

Dying - that's what the car kept doing on the way there.

Ditching - what the kids ended up doing since getting them back to school took 3 hours.

Dad - to the rescue!

Dummy - with having to wait that long, why didn't I have my book with me?

Dry Cleaning - still in the back of the car...

Delivery Delays - my sincerest apologies to Natalie, whose order was with me in the car...  it's now here at my house... and really, you'll get it this week - I promise!

I'm going to take a nap now and start the day over - it has to get better than this!

Stopping by from SITS. I hate when the car acts up. We had issues with a flat a few weeks ago. UGH!

I am so sorry Tonya. I hate those kind of days. You hot, tired and stressed. Ever find out what was wrong with your car? Take it easy tonight.

The car has been having a "minor issue" for a few weeks which would supposedly not be a problem again anytime soon, but we ordered in the part (never buy a car that doesn't have a local dealership) and waited for it to be delivered. The part came in, the shop called and left a message with one of 3 sons who have no recollection of such event. Luckily it was a quick fix, the car is done and I will pick it up tonight... FHE will be on the road I'm sure, but I'll be back in commission tomorrow :)

Stopping by from SITS. Congrats on being a saucy blog. I hope you had a better afternoon, and that your evening is uneventful. :)

Just as long as you didn't use the D word you'll get marks in heaven for this trial, right? The nice thing about those kind of days is we never see them coming. And then they're gone with hopefully just minimal damage to the bank account.

ha ha cc. That was a good one.
I was thinking it was just D day at preschool--think of what a great lesson that will make for m.

I hate when I forget my book and then end up stuck somewhere!

Totally feeling for you, good luck on the second round...

Without a book? I think that's the worse part of the day! Any amount of waiting/worrying can be endured if only you have a book...

Did you at least try a boiled peanut before you threw them away? It's not THAT bad that you can't try it, just not something you'll try more than once!
